On 18 November 2022, LIXX will launch the “Börse Online Best of Krypto Index” (ISIN DE000A3D1099) which will track selected crypto assets. LIXX will act as index administrator for renowned stock exchange magazine BÖRSE ONLINE, the index sponsor. The associated certificate from Leonteq Securities AG enables investors to invest in the index strategy.

In a market phase like the one experienced in autumn 2022, investing directly in individual cryptocurrencies or crypto assets is only recommended for particularly speculative investors. The current low in valuations will not change the fact, however, that cryptocurrencies and crypto assets will continue to play a major role in the international financial markets in the near and distant future.

With an index of selected (“best of”) crypto assets, this segment remains investable. What is interesting for investors is that the renowned financial journal BÖRSE ONLINE is the sponsor of the new crypto index launched by LIXX. Swiss securities firm Leonteq is issuing the corresponding certificate.

The “Börse Online Best of Krypto Index” (ISIN DE000A3D1099) will launch on 18 November 2022 and will be computed daily. Rule-based rebalancing of the index is scheduled for 18 May and 18 November of each year, where the 10 cryptocurrencies with the highest market capitalisation will be selected at those times.

The index methodology provides for the asset with the highest market capitalisation to be weighted at 19% in the index, with the remaining 9 assets at 9% each.

This novel index offers a new way to participate in the exciting market of crypto assets without taking incalculable risks.
